The Enchanted Pig. with Australian Contemporary Opera Co.

“Princesses do not marry pigs. That’s not the way life should be.”
Princess Flora’s world is changed forever by disobeying her father’s instruction: do not enter the locked room! Egged on by her sisters, Flora opens the door. Upon entering the room the princesses’ fates are sealed, and it is decreed Flora must marry a pig! In true fairy-tale fashion, there is more to this pig than meets the eye. Flora embarks on a journey around the world, to the sun and moon and back to free her beloved ‘Pig’ from an evil curse.

ACOCo’s heart-warming production of The Enchanted Pig - A Musical Tale by Gale Edwards AM with costumes by Oscar-winner Tim Chappel, is not to be missed! Conducted by Patrick Burns.
